KorttiMarket uses only cookies that are strictly necessary for the Service to work. We do not use analytics, tracking or advertising cookies and we do not share data with ad networks. That is why the site has no cookie banner asking you to choose.

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser. Cookies let a site remember, for example, that you are logged in or which language you chose.

Which cookies we use

CookiePurposeDurationType
km_atAccess token the Service uses to recognise the logged-in user15 minStrictly necessary
km_rtRefresh token that keeps you logged in without having to sign in again all the time30 days or until you log outStrictly necessary
km_localeRemembers the language you chose (Finnish or English) when you change it in the language menu or your account settings12 monthsStrictly necessary (your choice)
km_annRemembers that you closed the site announcement bar, so the same announcement is not shown again30 daysStrictly necessary (your choice)

The login cookies (km_at, km_rt) are protected: page scripts cannot read them and they are only sent over an encrypted connection.

Local storage in your browser

Besides cookies, the Service keeps a few things only in your own browser (local storage and session storage). They are not sent to us automatically:

  • your recent searches, so you can repeat a search quickly;
  • an unfinished listing draft, so you do not lose what you have filled in;
  • the last page of each tab in the app view, when you use the Service on a phone or tablet.

You can clear this data in your browser settings. Recent searches can also be removed below the search field.

Under the Finnish Act on Electronic Communications Services, cookies require the user's consent unless the cookie is necessary to provide a service the user has requested. Logging in, choosing a language and closing the announcement bar fall under this exception. If we ever introduce other cookies, we will ask for your consent first and update this page.

Third-party services

We do not load third-party tracking or advertising code on our pages. The Service runs on our servers in the EU, and your browser does not contact ad networks.

Managing cookies

You can delete cookies or block them in your browser settings. Note that if you block the necessary cookies, you cannot log in to the Service and your language choice is forgotten.

  • Log out and the login cookies are removed.
  • You can change the language at any time in the site's language menu or in your account settings.
